培训机构虽说价格高些，和自学相比还是有不小优势的。我认识的人中，有一些参加过机构培训，这当中自控能力和意志力强的，确实从其他行业成功转到 IT ，而且现在也都不错；自控能力差的，钱就打水漂了。

短时间好像很难改变，家庭环境影响很大。

我不清楚楼主具体家庭情况是怎样。换做是我，可能就愿待在你原来的公司，因为我觉得钱够用了，我更愿意有更多的时间和精力陪伴家人。
如果楼主想收入上能提高一下，你这个朋友的公司也未必是最好的选择。你可以耐心多看看，尽可能多的获取信息之后，再做决定。
