Several years of professional experience in the field of IT administration or system support
Very good general IT knowledge of Windows and network technology
Enjoyment in dealing with people and in IT-technical support and consulting of the different departments
Structured, goal- and result-oriented working method and strong team and service orientation
High level of initiative and flexibility

Your duties:

Support for the introduction, design and commissioning of new database systems based on SQL Server 2016 and PostgreSQL
Support of Business Intelligence on-premise and Azure based on Microsoft Analytics Platform System (APS) and Datawarehouse
Conception and system design of operational concepts
Support of several server platforms with high data volumes
Responsibility for saving and versioning the environment
Manage capacity for the platform and create updates, upgrades and testing
Contact points for software development with external and internal development teams

Your profile:

Successfully completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable function
Good knowledge of SQL Server but version 2016 or PostgreSQL version 9.4 or higher
Operational knowledge of cloud services in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics is advantageous
Consolidated knowledge in the sector of operation and performance optimization of hardware and database environments
Understanding of complex and networked application landscapes and data flows
Awareness of data security with encryption, authorization management, audits desired
Analytical skills and process understanding
Independent and purposeful working style
Good command of English
